One of our favorite times of the year in Wisconsin is Spring! The outdoors can be enjoyed again without bundling up and fun summer attractions and hot spots in the state are soon ready to be enjoyed. This spring seems even more special, as COVID numbers continue to trend down and many businesses and events are slowly but surely opening back up at a safe rate. We know what that means… it’s time to get outside and enjoy what our great state has to offer!

In case you’re looking for things to do, here are some of our favorite Spring and Summer adventures in Wisconsin:

  1. Brewer Games

Nothing says warm weather in Wisconsin like heading to Milwaukee to see the home team Milwaukee Brewers play in person! A perfect ballgame brat with some racing sausages? Nothing like it! We’re SO happy to have the Milwaukee Brewers back for the summer where spectators can actually go see them again. It was a LONG year last year missing our ballgames!

  1. Wisconsin Dells

Whether you want to hit up the attractions like the Original Wisconsin Ducks and Noah’s Ark, or you’re looking for the more scenic views at the State Parks in the area (Devil’s Lake or Mirror Lake), you’re sure to have a blast. Or, rent a pontoon and head out on the Wisconsin River all day, hitting up the sandbars for some leisurely fun with loved ones. How nice will it feel to be outside enjoying all the fun of Wisconsin Dells!

  1. Door County

We enjoy the hiking and beach fun that Peninsula State Park offers. And we love to visit the local wineries and breweries the peninsula has to offer. And the food! There are so many great restaurants to choose from for every meal in many of the small towns along the route. Head over to either side of the peninsula for some fun water sports, where you can kayak to see shipwrecks, or rent a sailboat for the day. No matter what you and your family love to do, Door County has you covered.

  1. A Trip “Up North”

A summer in Wisconsin just isn’t summer without a trip up to the north woods. There is nothing quite like sitting with a cup of coffee in the morning on a lake, listening to the loons call out. Whether you’re camping or renting a cabin, it’s magic! If you enjoy fishing, you’re going to love all of the lakes that are available. Or, if you’d rather just enjoy a good fish dinner, many local restaurants will serve an amazing fish fry on Friday nights (with a Brandy Old-Fashioned, of course!). If enjoying the scenery is more your scene, kayaking and canoeing will be a hit on one of the many lakes the north woods has to offer. Whether you head to Minocqua, Hayward or Eagle River, you’re sure to find the hospitality and welcomed rest and relaxation you are looking for.

  1. Wine and Brewery Tours

Now that the warm weather is here, it’s the perfect time to visit the wineries and breweries that are opening back up, near and far in the state! Take one of many brewery tours in Milwaukee or Madison, or head further north for Wisconsin’s beloved Leinenkugel’s tour. Or, if wine is more your thing, take a look at this information for Wisconsin Wineries and plan your trip around the state! Nothing is more fun than joining a group of friends at the local beer garden and enjoying a sunny Saturday afternoon listening to live music and enjoying some local refreshments.

What do you have on tap for the summer now that the weather is finally warming up and things are slowly but surely opening back up? We want to hear!
